While an SDSU student in the late '80s, he was an editor and writer for The Daily Aztec. He regularly debated the state of Aztec sports at Monty’s. Nowadays, he loves fitness activities. He is a Chargers fan and a Padres fan (ouch and ouch). His favorite comedy series is Ted Lasso. “I believe in hope. I believe in BELIEVE.” His wife Delia is a Dual Language middle school teacher.
