In conference play SDSU traveled to Utah State alone in 1st place, only to return tied with the Aggies and for now without the tie-breaking edge.

Saturday morning San Diego State 15-5 (9-1) takes on Utah State 17-3 (8-2) in this years opportunity to get out of town with a rare win.

The Aztecs remain in 1st place of the Mountain West after putting it down on Colorado State Wednesday night in Viejas 73-50.

After a split on the road the 1st place Aztecs take on last season’s Mountain West tournament champions the Colorado State Rams.

SDSU soundly beat UNLV on the road to remain in 1st place. Up next they return home Wednesday vs Colorado State and then hit the road Saturday at 2nd place Utah State.
