The Beavers have opened as 14.0-point home favorites over San Diego State, a number that will be interesting to track in the next few days.
San Diego State is 2-3 (1-0) on the season and also 1-4 against the spread, improving on that mark after their victory over Texas State at home. The only time the Aztecs defeated the spread this season was in their 31-29 win over Texas State in Week 5, a game the Bobcats were favored by 10.5 points.
Oregon State, meanwhile, is 3-2 (1-0) on the season and 5-0 ATS. The Beavers lost their first two games of the season against #23 Houston and #17 Texas Tech, falling by 13 and 11 points. The spreads in both of those games were set at 21 and 25.5, respectively.
In Week 5, Oregon State dominated Colorado State, 56-26, in a game the Beavers were only 6.5-point favorites. The 30 point victory came on the road and was so severe to CSU, HC Jim Mora Jr. effectively fired their Defensive Coordinator mid-game.
Oregon State is led by their QB Braden Atkinson, who leads all of NCAA Division I FBS college football with 1,848 passing yards so far in the 2026 season.
As a team, SDSU has totaled just 771 passing yards altogether.
OSU is 5-2 all-time over San Diego State, with the Beavers having won all of their five games in succession. The Aztecs last victory over Oregon State came in 1975 in a game that was played in Portland, Oregon and was a shutout 25-0.
San Diego State and Oregon State will kick off at 3:00 p.m. PST on the USA Network next Saturday.
